Elevator Pitch No.3

Reflection: All of the feedback on my last pitch was rather positive, which is great, however I thought of a few things I could try to improve on myself. I tried to describe the problem myself rather than just leave it up to interpretation. I also changed up some minor things that I thought were unnecessary. All of the feedback on my last pitch was great, and thank you for that. I do think I could improve a lot still even after this pitch. I was not able to memorize it because I have really terrible memory, so I am clearly reading off of my computer what I want to say. I also made no attempt really, to move around, or use nonverbal communication, because it does not come naturally to me. Both of these are things I could greatly improve on, but I think I did get to a point where I have explained what my idea generally is trying to solve.

  1. Hey Owen,

I think that you did a great job with describing how your product works in more detail. This was also something that I focused on this week and I feel that it did improve my pitch because it now connects more with the viewer as did yours. I would strongly suggest that you do not read off of your computer anymore, or at least practice using bullets until you can ween yourself off of it. If you ever had to give a real elevator pitch you wouldn’t have this luxury so I believe it would benefit you to practice without one now when it doesn’t matter.

    Thanks, Zach L.

  2. Owen,

I really like your elevator pitch. I think that you were very clear in your pitch and you really know your topic. I think that its good that you were getting all good feedback on your second pitch. I will agree that it is very hard to memorize your whole entire pitch. I like that you went over your pitch and made changes yourself that you thought that you would like.
